Summer Camp 2010
This year, Bedford Montessori School will offer its summer program from July 12th to August 12th Monday-Thursday 9-12:30. Summer Orientation Program for new students will run July5-8th from 9-11:30 Monday through Thursday. There will be an emphasis on arts and crafts, outdoor games, planting, cooking, science and storytelling. There is a summer calendar that marks the activities of the day and themes of each week. The children will also work with the Montessori materials in a hands-on, prepared environment. The program is open to children 3-6 years of age. You may enroll in one week, or all four. Enrollment is limited and based on a first come, first served basis, with preference given to current and incoming students. Registrations for summer are taken in early spring. The summer program enables those children currently enrolled during the school year the opportunity to continue their daily routines with their classmates. We encourage summer enrollment for the new student entering in the fall, it provides a good introduction to the school and their new classmates, and makes their adjustment to school a bit easier.
